On Fridays we have a great teacher come in and teach us, her name is Mrs Sattrup. One of the things she has been teaching us is art. She is teaching us about tone. Tone is when you have a base colour and shades a little darker and a little lighter. You make a colour a shade lighter by adding different amounts of white to the colour, depending on how much of a lighter shade you want it.You make a colour darker by adding different amounts of black to the colour,depending on how much of a darker shade you want it.
